Founded in 2014, VERIDIA is an alternative band incorporating rock, pop, electronic, r&b, hip hop, and Middle Eastern-inspired influences, led by the powerful vocals and presence of Egyptian-American frontwoman Deena Jakoub. After two EPs, several hit singles, numerous tours and festival appearances, the band independently released their first full-length album, The Beast You Feed, recorded with multi-platinum producer Matt Squire and featuring Amy Lee of Evanescence on the song “I’ll Never Be Ready.” VERIDIA’s newest EP, Pain Reliever, was released in February 2022, followed by a European arena tour with Evanescence and Within Temptation. The band is currently writing and planning to release more new music in 2023.
